Pickleball tournaments around the world

It’s easy to find pickleball tournaments in the USA.  Just look up Pickleball Tournaments on the web and you can search for them by date, state, or just scroll through the endless list of tournaments offered every weekend of the year, throughout the country!

Now, if you’re looking for a tournament to play in on a trip to Europe, or another part of the world, that’s a different story.  Tournaments are fewer in Europe, because the game is in its early stages of development, however each year more tournaments are being offered.

Here’s a list of the tournaments that I know ofNepal so far, upcoming in 2019.  Click on the links in each to find the most up to date information.

2019 Nepal Pickleball Adventure –     hosted by my pickleball husband, Leonardo Gonzalez and Navin Gurung.   January 14 – 24, 2019 – This exciting trip will include two pickleball tournaments with sightseeing in between.  Look for details on their Facebook page.Scotland Open2019 Scottish Open – May 24-25, 2019 – National Badminton Academy, Glasgow – Follow their Facebook page for more information, or Twitter.    Bookmark their website for future tournament updates. https://pickleballscotland.org

2019 Spanish Open – Madrid – September 5-8, 2019 – For the most up to date information follow their Facebook page.

2020 Dutch Open – April 3-5, 2020 – The Dutch always host a fun tournament with things to do (sightseeing and fun play) before the tournament starts.  I’ve been to their last two tournaments, and highly recommend putting this on your list of “must do’s” in 2020.   Information, as it comes available, can be found at the Pickleball Holland website.

I’m sure there are going to be more, but this is what I have to this point!  Stay tuned!
